Bavota and his piano at the Royal Albert Hall
Young pianist and composer from Neapolis Bruno Bavota played at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event was scheduled on April 2nd.
Bavota on stage at the prestigious British theater as part of the Accidental Festival Gala. The Festival is a platform that allows young artist to present their work at the Roundhouse, home to the finest musicians and performers in the world, in the heart of London, in Camden. Now at its eighth edition, the Accidental Festival be held from May 9 to 12. Bavota, 29, was selected from thousands of artists to entertain the parterre made up of industry professionals, media representatives and supporters of the festival. His piano will be the soundtrack of the whole evening, that will culminate in a presentation of the artist and his latest album “La casa sulla luna” (The house on the moon)
The album – “LA CASA SULLA LUNA” AND RESEMBLANCE TO EINAUDI
“La casa sulla luna” (The house on the moon) is the second album released by Bruno Bavota, and it follows the success of his debut album “Il pozzo d’amor” (The well of love), very well received by critics and very often compared to Ludovico Einaudi. With this second job, Bavota continues his journey in atemporal places. It follows that “La cassia sulla luna” is a sort of ‘container for dreams’. Ten tracks that evoke positive feelings and emotions. Among the tracks, there is also a tribute to the cinema: “Il dito si muove sul vetro appannato” (The finger moves on the misty glass), title of the third track, was inspired by a phrase said by Sean Penn in the award-winning film by Paolo Sorrentino “This must be the place”.
TRACKLIST:
1 – Amour
2 – L’uomo che rubò la Luna
3 – Il dito si muove sul vetro appannato
4 – C’è un cinema laggiù
5 – Seguimi, amore
6 – Buongiorno, buonanotte
7 – Cielo blu notte
8 – Il sole di Domenica
